    Alex, un regizor de succes, trece printr-o perioadă a vieții sale în care se luptă cu depresia, în ciuda succesului pe care îl are în plan profesional. După ce își anunță familia că se reîntoarce în satul natal, ei decid să îl urmeze, și doar cu ajutorul lor reușește să depășească momentele dificile.

    De-a lungul filmului, încercarea lui Alex de a scăpa de depresie este împiedicată de diferite evenimente tragi-comice, însă descoperă adevăratul sens al vieții și că familia, iertarea și dragostea sunt leacul pentru orice.
